This is a 1 Day Individual Masters Competition for those who believe that their best competitive years are ahead of them, not behind them.
Where:The Rhode Island Convention Center (Yes, you deserve the best)

Who: Men & Women Ages 35 and Up
Introducing 2 New Divisions:"Pre-Masters"(35-39) & "Grand Masters" (65 Plus)

Weights & Standards:
Basically, If you can handle the weights and movements in the CrossFit Opens , you will be good to go.
WODs will be challenging and will include some higher level skills and weights appropriate for Competitive Masters Athletes.
There isn't a Scaled division BUT we have designed all WODs to be widely inclusive.So, even if you are not a high level competitor, we invite you to compete and Give It Hell!!

No one will be left standing there unable to participate in the WOD.
WODS:
There will be 4 Separate Solid WODs of different Time and Weight Domains. These 4 WODs will give each athlete 5Scores. (Yes, one is a double WOD that is worthy of 2 scores.) All WODs will be released by August 1st.

2 minute AMRAP Chest 2 Bar Pull Ups  then..

1 minute Rest

3 minute AMRAP

Shoulder 2 Over Head (115#/85#)

5 Box Jumps every time you put the bar down

 

 

Ages 50- 60

2 minute AMRAP Chest 2 Bar Pull Ups  then..

1 minute Rest

Ages 60 and Up

Men: 2 minute AMRAP Chest 2 Bar Pull Ups

Shoulder 2 Over Head (85#/45#)

5 Box Jumps every time you put the bar down

 

Pull Ups will be the RX for Women 60 Plus

 

SCALING OPTION FOR CHEST 2 BARS:

If you absolutely do not have Chest 2 Bars, you may do pull ups for a scale on the Chest 2 Bars.  Each Pull Up will be worth 1/10 of a Chest to Bar.

 

For ladies 60 and up,  you absolutely do not have Pull Ups, you may do Toes 2 Bar for a scale on the Pull Ups.  Each Toes 2 Bar will be worth 1/10 of a Pull Ups.

 

 

WOD #4: “Fire Starter”

Ages 35-50:

1 minute: AMRAP Dumbell Snatches (50#/35#)

1 minute AMRAP Kettlebell Swings (32kg/24kg)

1 minute Pistols

1 minute AMRAP Kettlebell Swings

1 minute: AMRAP Dumbell Snatches

If you do not have Pistols.  You get to rest for 1 minute and hit the other 2 hard.

 

Ages 50-59:

1 minute: AMRAP Dumbell Snatches (45#/30#)

1 minute AMRAP Kettlebell Swings (24kg/16kg)

1 minute Pistols  or DB Overhead Reverse Lunges

1 minute AMRAP Kettlebell Swings

1 minute: AMRAP Dumbell Snatches

If you have Pistols, do them.  You will get 2x’s the points for each Pistol you do.

 

Ages 60 and Up:

1 minute: AMRAP Dumbell Snatches (45#/25#)

1 minute AMRAP Kettlebell Swings (24kg/16kg)

1 minute DB Overhead Reverse Lunges

1 minute AMRAP Kettlebell Swings

1 minute: AMRAP Dumbell Snatches

If you have Pistols, do them.  You will get 2x’s the points for each Pistol you do.
